Change a rule #
Cosmetic edits such as title, description, artwork, category, and order do not change the earning rule revision. Changes to the earning method, criterion, target, points bonus, date rules, or purchase requirements can create a new revision.
For an existing achievement, use Preview rule change to estimate qualifying unfinished members before saving. The preview does not award achievements. Save the rule and, when prompted, select Rebuild next 50 members repeatedly until the pending rebuild clears. Progress arriving during a rebuild is included in a final pass.
Members who already earned the achievement keep their original requirement and bonus. Their detail view explains when the award was earned under an earlier rule. They do not earn the same definition or its bonus again after you change it.

| Restore as archived | Returns a trashed definition to Archived so you can review it before reactivating. |
| Delete permanently | Requires confirmation; removes the definition, awards, progress, and display references. Existing points and minimal private history remain. Shared uploaded artwork is retained. |
Revoking one member’s award is a different action from archiving or deleting its definition. Use revocation when you intend to reverse that member’s original achievement bonus.
