Where: Profile → About → Notifications → Achievements → I earn an achievement
When you earn an achievement you can be notified onsite, by email, or both. The notification names the achievement and links to your collection.
Set your preferences #
- Open Profile → About → Notifications.
- Find Achievements → I earn an achievement.
- Choose your onsite and email options.
- Check your overall email notification intensity (immediate, digest or none), which also controls email delivery.
Good to know #
- Achievements with no points bonus, and ones granted by an administrator, also notify you.
- Turning notifications on does not send alerts for achievements you already earned.
- Repeating the activity, or a revoked achievement being restored, does not resend the original notification.
- An achievement can appear in your collection without an immediate email if you use digest emails or have email turned off.
If an email doesn’t arrive #
- Open Profile → Achievements → Earned. The award may already be there.
- Check the notification and email-intensity settings above.
- Allow for digest timing, and check your spam folder.
