Existing accepted friends, profile setup, followers, group memberships, page followers, and points balances can qualify through current state. They do not require members to recreate those relationships or reset their profiles. Relevant actions and authenticated visits evaluate these milestones; simply viewing another person’s collection does not grant them achievements.
For activity criteria, removing eligible content, removing a qualifying reaction or vote, or removing all attachments from a file post can reduce unfinished progress. Previously earned awards and their bonuses remain unless an administrator revokes them.
Stories are a specific exception: an observed publication remains counted after the story expires, is deleted, or is later unpublished.
