- Open PeepSo → Manage → Achievements and select Create achievement.
- Enter a clear Title and Description. Titles accept up to 100 characters; descriptions accept up to 1,000. Use plain text.
- Choose a Category, or leave it Uncategorized. Set Display order if you want to control placement within the catalog.
- Keep Status as Draft while preparing the achievement.
- Choose artwork from Available artwork, or use Add artwork to choose or upload an image.
- Under How it is earned, choose Automatic or Manual.
- For an automatic achievement, choose a Criterion and its target or criterion-specific fields. Read the generated requirement and any integration message.
- Set an optional points bonus. Bonuses accept whole numbers from 0 to 1,000,000. A zero-bonus achievement still appears in the member’s collection when earned.
- Review the card preview and save the achievement.
- When ready, change the status to Active and save. If the editor requests a rebuild, complete it before expecting the revised rule to operate normally.
An automatic achievement uses one criterion. Create separate achievements when you want to recognize different milestones. A manual achievement is granted by an administrator; publishing activity does not earn it automatically.
Example: recognize five published posts #
Create an automatic achievement titled Finding Your Voice, choose Published posts, and set Target to 5. Give it a zero bonus if you want recognition without an extra point award, or add the bonus you intend to grant once. Activate it when ready.
The member needs five eligible posts recorded from this definition’s first activation. Older posts do not count. Their progress can continue even after the daily posting points cap has been reached.
When a criterion says unavailable #
You can select an unavailable optional criterion to read its integration requirements. You cannot save or activate a new automatic definition using it, including as a draft, until its provider is installed, active, and initialized. Follow the integration action shown beneath the selector, then return to the achievement editor. Poll criteria also require Foundation Polls to be enabled.
Manual overrides of automatic achievements also respect integration availability. Creating a manual achievement is a separate earning method; it does not create missing activity or purchase evidence.
