Newly earned achievements create an onsite notification and queue an email through PeepSo, subject to the member’s preferences. This includes zero-bonus achievements and administrator grants. The notification names the achievement and links to the recipient’s collection; it does not reveal a private administrator reason.

Members control the channels at Profile → About → Notifications → Achievements → I earn an achievement. Email also follows their overall notification intensity, including digest and Never.

Administrators can edit the Achievement earned message in PeepSo’s email template settings. Preserve the achievement link and supported template placeholders, then send a test for the installed build after editing.

Earlier awards are not retrospectively notified. Duplicate activity, rebuilding already earned achievements, and revoking or restoring awards do not send the original alert again. An earned award remains earned if notification delivery fails. Achievements does not independently retry an initial notification queue failure; already queued email follows PeepSo’s normal delivery behavior.
