There are updates that fix things. There are updates that improve things. And then there are updates that make the whole product feel like it has taken a leap forward. This is one of those releases.
The latest PeepSo update brings a major redesign of the backend Dashboard, a completely new Getting Started experience for site owners, reactions on comments, important repost improvements, better reporting accuracy, and compatibility work for the next versions of WordPress and PHP.
It is not just a maintenance release. It is a cleaner, smarter, more useful PeepSo. From the moment you open the admin area, the difference is obvious.
A New Dashboard Built for Community Owners
The PeepSo Dashboard has been redesigned from the ground up to give community owners a clearer view of what is happening inside their site. Let’s be brutally honest and admit that before this release the dashboard did not receive a proper attention. That’s changed now.
A community is alive. It grows, slows down, wakes up, gets quiet, gets loud, and sometimes surprises you. The Dashboard should help you understand that. It should not just throw numbers at you and expect you to figure out what matters.
The new Dashboard is built to feel more like a command center for your community. It gives you better visibility into activity, members, discussions, and engagement, all in a cleaner and more modern layout. Instead of digging around the WordPress backend trying to understand what is going on, you now get a much better overview right where you need it.

We also improved reporting accuracy and fixed the mismatch in total member count between the Dashboard and the Users area. Top Discussions also received attention, so the information shown there is more reliable and useful.
This is the kind of improvement that changes the daily experience of running a PeepSo community. You log in, you look at the Dashboard, and you understand your community faster.
That is exactly how it should be.
A New Getting Started Experience
Every great community starts with a first step.
The new Getting Started pages in the PeepSo backend are designed to make that first step easier, clearer, and more enjoyable. Setting up a community should not feel like wandering through endless settings and hoping you did things in the right order.
Now, PeepSo gives site owners a better path.

The new backend Getting Started experience helps admins understand what to do next, where to go, and how to begin shaping their community. It feels more intentional, more modern, and much more welcoming, especially for new site owners who are seeing PeepSo for the first time.
This matters because the admin experience is part of the product too. When setting up your community feels easier, launching your community becomes easier. When the path is clearer, people move faster. And when people move faster, their communities go live sooner.
That is a win for everyone.
Reactions on Comments Are Here
Posts are important, but real conversations often happen in the comments. Someone replies with something helpful. Someone makes a joke. Someone shares a personal thought. Someone adds the detail that turns a simple post into an actual discussion.
Now, members can react directly to comments.

This makes conversations feel more natural and more alive. A member does not always need to write a full reply to participate. Sometimes a reaction is enough. Sometimes a quick response is what keeps the conversation moving.
Reactions on comments add a new layer of expression to PeepSo communities. They make discussions more dynamic, more social, and more engaging. It is a small interaction with a big effect, because it gives members one more reason to participate.
And more participation is what every community needs. Of course reactions are fully customizable and unified across posts and comments.
Reposts Feel Better Across the Community
This release also brings important improvements to reposts. Reposts have been improved across single posts, third party profiles, and Pages streams. Reposted content now behaves more consistently, including better handling of longer repost content with the Read More behavior. We also fixed an issue where reposted Page posts did not show properly when the stream filter was set to Following and the original Page was not liked by the viewer.
That may sound technical, but the result is simple: sharing content feels smoother and more predictable. A community depends on content moving naturally. When someone reposts something, it should appear where it makes sense, display properly, and feel like part of the flow. This update helps make that experience cleaner.
More Polish, Better Compatibility, Fewer Annoyances
Great software is not only about big features. It is also about the small things that stop getting in your way. This release includes fixes and improvements across PeepSo and its integrations. We improved error notices around reactions and comments, refined text field styling for WordPress 7, and tested PeepSo against WordPress 7.0 RC 2.
We also tested PeepSo against PHP 8.5, because staying ready for the future of WordPress hosting matters. Communities are long term projects, and PeepSo needs to keep moving with the platform it is built on.
Social Login and Invitations also received an important improvement, with PeepSo fields now being populated better from social login data. User Limits received fixes as well, including better behavior when users set their avatar while an avatar requirement notice is visible, and a correction for cases where restricting a post could affect messages.
Notifications now use absolute dates, making them clearer and easier to understand. Advanced Ads and Selling Ads integration received improvements. Videos now show a warning so users know not to leave the screen while a video is uploading.
Individually, these improvements may sound small. Together, they make PeepSo feel more polished, more stable, and more thoughtfully built.
This Is a Big Step Forward for PeepSo
This update is about giving community owners more confidence. A better Dashboard means you understand your community faster. Better reporting means you can trust what you see. New Getting Started pages mean launching a community feels less intimidating.
Reactions on comments mean members have more ways to engage. Repost improvements mean content moves more naturally through your community. Compatibility work means PeepSo is ready for what comes next.
That is what this release is really about. Making PeepSo feel better for the people who build communities, and better for the people who participate in them. PeepSo has always been about giving you control over your own social network, your own members, your own content, and your own platform. With this release, that experience becomes cleaner, smarter, and more enjoyable.
This is PeepSo moving forward.
