Build community software. Work from anywhere.
We build the social layer for WordPress: profiles, conversations, groups, media, and the tools community owners use every day. We do it as a fully remote company built on trust, clear communication, and care for the people using our product.
How we work
Remote work needs more than a laptop. We set clear expectations around hours, communication, compensation, and time away so everyone knows where they stand.
Reliable monthly pay
You are paid for your work once a month by wire transfer. Straightforward, documented, and on a predictable schedule.
Flexible hours, useful overlap
Most collaboration happens from 9AM–5PM Western Australian Time (UTC/GMT +8). Full-time roles are 40 hours a week, with at least 4–6 hours a day inside that window. Support engineers generally work business hours in their own time zone to broaden coverage.
Remote by design
We are 100% remote. Our working rhythm lives in the tools, not an office, so decisions and responsibilities stay visible wherever you are.

- GitLab for product work
- Awedesk for customer care
Paid vacation time
Everyone has a holiday allowance. Reserve your time off with at least two weeks’ notice so the rest of the team can plan around it.
Your role may reach beyond PeepSo.
Depending on the role and current priorities, your work may extend across Awedesk, Inc. and the wider Awe product family—including Awedesk, awecommerce, and future products as they take shape.

What we look for
Specific expertise changes by role. These are the foundations that help people contribute well in a distributed WordPress product company.
-
Fluent English
Clear written and spoken communication matters in every position. Our work is remote, so being able to explain a decision, ask a precise question, and document context is part of the job.
-
Strong WordPress knowledge
You should understand the WordPress platform well, including how plugins and themes are installed, configured, updated, and maintained.
-
Practical technical fluency
The required depth depends on the role, but everyone needs a basic understanding of the technology around the product. You should also be comfortable working with AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and development, while reviewing the output and owning the final result.

Curiosity about PeepSo
You do not need to arrive knowing every corner of the product. We will teach you what you need to know, and teammates will help you build context as you work.
Trust is the operating system.
Remote work succeeds when people can rely on one another—without recreating an office through constant supervision.
-
Honesty and ownership
We do not expect people to clock in like office workers. We expect honest communication, sound judgment, and responsibility for the work you commit to.
-
Customer care belongs to everyone
Whatever your role, the customer experience matters. That principle is set out in our Fanatical Support Manifesto.
-
Inclusive, multicultural, and open
PeepSo is an inclusive and multicultural workplace. We welcome people of different countries, cultures, identities, and beliefs, reject discrimination, and share the open-source values at the heart of WordPress.
