PeepSo 7.0.4.0 Is Live – Smarter, Safer, and More Seamless Than Ever

We’re thrilled to roll out PeepSo 7.0.4.0, a fresh update that brings smoother experiences, tighter security, and smarter customization to your community. Whether you’re an admin fine-tuning your platform or a member looking for better usability, this version delivers meaningful improvements across the board.

One of the highlights in this release is a major security upgrade. We’ve closed several important vulnerabilities, including a script injection flaw in the search function, a bug that exposed author names in anonymous post edit notifications, and issues related to friend requests and Giphy integration. Your community’s safety is always our top priority, and this update reflects that commitment.

On the usability front, we’ve made some welcome refinements. The new postbox now resizes properly, so your members can focus on expressing themselves without layout hiccups. We’ve also improved link preview behavior for smoother sharing and fixed an issue with editing background posts.

Integrations have been a key focus too. Compatibility with the latest Advanced Ads 2.0.0 is now fully restored, and we’ve added support for WPEM registrations, making it easier to connect and streamline your plugins.

For you as responsible site owners, we’ve introduced a flexible new way to enforce password security. You can now define minimum requirements for lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters—giving you precise control over password strength directly from the admin panel.

Other fixes and enhancements include resolving WordPress database deadlock errors in Chat. Fix in Groups was added for a case where users were able to join non-existent groups. Email template previews have also been fixed for better workflow and customization.

PeepSo 7.0.4.0 is a meaningful step forward. It smooths out rough edges, patches vulnerabilities, and gives you more control over how your community works—all while keeping the experience fast, friendly, and secure. See our changelog for all details.

Update now and see the difference for yourself.
