New Release: 6.2.7.1

PeepSo 6.2.7.1 is a maintenance release addressing a moderate vulnerability issue which could expose sensitive data to users who never logged in. We recommend an immediate update.

What Is Sensitive Data Exposure?

Sensitive data is anything that should not be accessible to unauthorized access. Because this vulnerability was reported early to us, we were able to fix it immediately and no one is affected by it. However, we recommend an immediate update of PeepSo foundation plugin.

Where Are The Plugins?

PeepSo versioning scheme includes four (4) numbers exactly for this reason. Changing the last digit in our version number will make all add-on plugins and Gecko Theme work just fine if first three (3) digits are the same.

Version 6.2.7.0 plugins and Gecko Theme will work normally on PeepSo foundation 6.2.7.1.

There is no need to update add-on plugins and Gecko Theme.

What Else Is New?

This is an unscheduled security fix which handles a single issue. There are no other changes.
