New Release: 6.0.6.0

Release 6.0.6.0 brings cosmetic improvements to Gecko Theme dark presets and better compatibility with third-party plugins displayed on a dark background. It also fixes the problem with automatic username feature.

Gecko Theme Dark Preset Improvements

We fixed the breadcrumbs issue with YoastSEO being hardly visible with dark preset. WPAdverts also got some dark preset love with many improvements across the board.

Automatic Username Issue

PeepSo has this great feature where you can set the usernames during registration to be created automatically based on the email used. It should take only first part of the email (up until @ sign) but it was taking the whole thing exposing the user email as as an username. This is now fixed and will apply to new users.

If you have users that have an exposed email as username, go to WP Admin -> Configuration -> Accounts & Security and under “Usernames” pane, enable the option to Allow usernames change, the instruct your affected users to go their profile and change the username. You can disable this option afterwards.
