Avoid sending “duplicate” notifications

For a very long time PeepSo would send two notifications if someone both replied to your comment/post and mentioned you at the same time. We have had a fair share of questions about it, but unfortunately there was no fast or easy fix. In PeepSo 5.1.1.0 we refactored the bits of code responsible for that, and now Mentions are not sent if a notification was already sent about the same exact comment.

Big “post views” number formatting

As suggested by one of our clients, once post views go above one thousand, the number becomes rather hard to read. In this release we added automatic shortening of these numbers, for example “12345” becomes “12.3k” etc.

Easy Digital Downloads 3.0.x

If you are using PeepSo with EDD3, you should upgrade to PeepSo 5.1.1.0 as soon as possible. This release fixes a potential PHP 8 related crash due to missing constants and implements a new order detection mechanism, so our “auto post to stream” feature works with EDD3 database structure.

WooCommerce 6.7.x

PeepSo 5.1.1.0 is compatible with WooCommerce 6.7.x and we have fixed a bug where deleting a product would prevent the stream from loading whenever a “auto post to stream” post containing said deleted product was encountered.

Other improvements

We have addressed a reported concern where Gecko sticky footer would render completely out of place, and fixed some issues with WPAdverts 2. We also fixed a bug which caused the “+” button to not show during post creation if the user uploaded an amount of photos that perfectly matched the row layout.
