Mobile App (Beta)
Our new plugin – PeepSo Integrations: Mobile App – is now in public Beta stage. You can now install it via the PeepSo Installer or download it from your account.
This plugin improves PeepSo’s integration with third party mobile app site wrappers such as MobiLoud and WPMobile.app allowing you to take greater control of the PeepSo interface in app context.
This integration does not come with support for push notifications, app store submissions or any other issues not linked directly to PeepSo. We are happy to look into anything that might be a PeepSo bug in app context but in the end most of the technical support will have to go through the respective app wrapper solution providers.
At this time this integration only supports PeepSo Core and Extras plugins, without Integrations and Monetization. Please bear in mind, having on-site payments/e-commerce and/or social login in your app might prevent you from being accepted in Apple App Store.
Our future plans for this plugin do involve login with Apple and push notifications, but these features do not have a concrete deadline yet.
Events
The WP Event Manager integration now supports the Recurring Events add-on along with the Calendar add-on support added in the previous release. We have made sure users can RSVP to each occurrence of the recurring event separately, and that cloning event occurrences does not generate spam on the feed if “post new events to stream” is enabled.
Gecko
We introduced a new widget position: Sticky Top (Above header) which is great for announcement banners you might want to have stuck to the top of the page at all times. The Sticky Top position added in the previous release was renamed to Sticky Top (Under header) for clear distinction.
