Calendar view in Events, third party Stories , Mobile App improvements.
Events
Our WP Event Manager integration has been extended with the support for the Calendar add-on in PeepSo profiles, including RSVP buttons. Our RSVP buttons have also been added to WPEM widgets. The event sidebar attendee list now has a configurable limit of users shown.
Stories
The authors of WP Story Premium have released a long-awaited update with an improved PeepSo integration and more widgets. Your community can have Instagram-like stories now – please refer to this community post and WP Story support and documentation for more details.
Mobile App
The upcoming PeepSo Integrations: Mobile App plugin (currently in closed beta) received some WPMobile.App styling improvements as well as three new options for the app context: ability to disable page titles, disable logout and/or preferences items from PeepSo menus and the ability to hide the Gecko scroll to top button.
WP Adverts
We have added the ability to exclude specific categories from the WP Adverts post to stream feature. The option to exclude a category will show when editing a WP Adverts category via the usual WordPress interface. We have also improved compatibility related to WP Adverts and widgets when PeepSo SEO links (BETA) is enabled.
Other improvements
There’s a new widget position in Gecko – sticky top. It’s similar to the top position, but it will remain sticky to the top of the page when scrolled.
We have fixed an issue with Arabic translations regarding plural numbers in elapsed time timestamps, improved alignment of numbered Markdown lists, and the way reposts are rendered. We also improved compatibility with TranslatePress. As always, the full changelog can be found here.
Does this have to do with users not being able to type correctly or typing going haywire when making background posts on Android phones? Don’t have an iPhone so I guessed the issue is only with Android phones – faced the issue on my Android phone with background posts.
