The second release of the 2.3.X family delivers minor bug fixes and performance improvements to the plugins. Gecko theme with this update adds 2 new features.
PeepSo Improvements
The new mentions CSR engine was improved to avoid rendering posts before the mention has human-readable data, so that the interface does not “blink” the raw data to the user. This fix was also back-ported to the 2.3.0 version last week.
We also improved editing and re-posting of photo activities, as sometimes pictures would only load after a page refresh. A few CSS interface tweaks were added to improve the photo grid layout in profiles and messages layout in mobile view.
Gecko Theme
In this version we added a new option to Backend > Gecko > Customize to adjust Logo URL Redirect (redirect to different than default “Home” page). We also added a Grid (Mansory) blog view (2 columns) which can be set in the backend > Gecko > Blog tab.
